There are moments within our lives when events can overwhelm our coping mechanisms. In those moments of stress and anxiety, we can become stuck, as though a piece of us becomes frozen in time. Trauma counselling is the process of working through the trauma symptoms, learning new skills to maintain a healthier, more balanced life that is no longer controlled by the trauma response.
